ACADEMY LITERACY PROJECT PRIMER:
Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for individuals who are just starting their journey toward literacy. The course materials are fully illustrated to augment vocabulary building. This course includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book. This is a 48-hour course of instruction.
ACADEMY LITERACY PROJECT 1 Essentials:
Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for individuals who want to establish basic reading and writing skills that create the requisite foundation for literacy. This basic course starts with the alphabet and progresses from that elemental point of instruction and learning. This is a 32 hour course that includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book.
ACADEMY LITERACY PROJECT 2 Words:
Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for individuals who have completed Academy Literacy Project 1 or who have already established a basic level of literacy that is sound. Here in this course words become the focal point of instruction, as words are the next building block in literacy. This is a 32 hour course that includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book.
ACADEMY LITERACY PROJECT 3 Sentences:
Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for individuals who have completed Academy of Literacy Project 2 or who have already established a basic level of literacy and who have a command of words and their linguistic operation. Here in this course sentences become the focal point of instruction, certainly to include their various elements and their proper crafting. Sentences are the next building block in literacy. This is a 32 hour course that includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book.
ACADEMY LITERACY PROJECT 4 Paragraphs:
Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for individuals who have completed Academy Literacy Project 3 or who have already established a basic level of literacy and who have a command of sentence structure and composition. Here is this course we expand upon sentence crafting and unite sentences into coherent, well-structured paragraphs. This is the initial phase of writing skill development at a more advanced level. This is a 32 hour course that includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book.
ACADEMY LITERACY PROJECT 5 Correspondence:
Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for individuals who have completed Academy Literacy Project 4 or who have already established writing skills that enable the crafting of advanced-level paragraphs. Here in this course writing skills are advanced by way of correspondence instruction and practice, which also serves as a social benefit as well as an employment benefit. Crafting correspondence is an excellent method of writing skills instruction and learning. This is a 32 hour course that includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book.
ACADEMY LITERACY PROJECT 6 Short Stories:
Description: This course of instruction is designed specifically for individuals who have completed Academy Literacy Project 5 or who have already established their ability to write sound single paragraphs as well as sound multiple paragraphs. Here in this course the concentration is upon the writing of short stories, which are based upon each individual's own life experiences as well as fictional experiences, situations, circumstances, and settings. This course concludes the Academy Literacy Project series. This is a 32 hour course that includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book.
ACADEMY LITERACY PROJECT 7 Workplace Literacy:
Description: Workplaces have a very special language of their own that
literate persons must master in order to be able to work and advance in these businesses.
This course includes that terminology, which is often expressed in symbols and
abbreviations. This is a 32-hour course of instruction with its own curriculum and
text/work book.
ACADEMY LITERACY PROJECT 8 Advanced Reading and Writing:
Description: In this course the student advances to the
requisite level of reading and writing that is required in nearly all environments, from
work, to school, to special interests, to home. What has been already learned is enhanced
and taken to this next level. This is a 32-hour course of instruction with its own curriculum
and text/work book.
CURSIVE WRITING:
Description: This course of instruction is the essential course for adult postsecondary students who wish to learn the art of cursive writing or renew their abilities the proper way. It was prepared for adults and is paced for adults, especially those who require this talent in the workplace. This is a 48 hour course that includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book.
AFTER SCHOOL CURSIVE WRITING:
Description: This course of instruction is the essential course for junior high school and high school students who have never had any cursive writing instruction or who wish to renew their cursive writing abilities the proper way. It is a very important course for students who are preparing for college or who are preparing for their initial employment ventures. It was specially created for this very specific group of students in this age-range. This is a 48 hour course that includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book.
ELEMENTARY CURSIVE WRITING:
Description: This course of instruction is the basic course for elementary school students who have previously had no cursive writing training. It has been designed to progress slowly and to help these young students to learn key elementary-level vocabulary words. In the course of studying cursive writing, these students are introduced to basic writing skills that will serve as a critical foundation for later writing. This is a 48 hour course that includes its own written curriculum and its own text/work book.
